My coworkers seemed to be a little more receptive to sarcasm than most Japanese people, but my boss often went over *my* head with sarcasm sometimes. He's never even been to America (but speaks amazing English).

oh! a spider plant (with a baby hanging off it)! And your rice cooker, with the little elephant on it! I really like how the night panel looks into Yuki's window from the outside, and then how the last panel is looking out Mai's window to the day scene.
